I hate September. There’s a feeling in my body I haven’t felt this badly before. A drop, some kind of yearning. Anxiousness (the bad kind). My jaw is tight. I grind my teeth. My eyes swell with tears but I’m able to stop them before they reach the surface. I’m still able to function “normally” for the most part, but I feel listless, heavy, slow.

My boss (Jason) and coworker are away and Jason has mice in his apartment above the store and he caught one in a trap and I found it. So today is garbage day and I was going to throw the mouse out but I am like super scared and EW DEAD MOUSE EW.

So I just went upstairs with a plastic bag and poked it and then i was like WTF WHAT’S MOVING AND THEN I SAW IT’S FUR FALLING OFF AND THERE ARE FUCKING MAGGOTS IN THE MOUSE AND OH MY GOD EW EW EW EW AND I SCREAMED AND RAN AWAY.

moments after leaving the screening of charlie kaufman’s directiorial debut i sent these texts:

“holy fucking shit. that movie. i cannot compute. what the fuck. you have to see it when it comes out. charlie kaufman’s actually mindblowing.”

“it’s insane. like actually. i feel like i just took a million crazy pills. i don’t know even know if i will be able to sleep.”

“i don’t know whether it’s genius or completely insane because i feel too stupid to comprehend.”

i have NEVER had a reaction like this from a movie before. i feel as though i have to block it out of my system because it is too overwhelming. i don’t know if it was good or bad. i think i could watch it 400 times and still feel just as mindfucked.

one small reason for moving

Recently the city gave each residence giant recycling bins on wheels:

It’s about 4 1/2 feet tall…

Today I left my house and our recycling bin was gone. STOLEN! AND I HEARD THEM STEAL IT. Last night, around 2am, I heard someone wheeling something loud down the street. I actually thought to myself, “is someone stealing our recycling bin?”, but I decided that was a stupid thought and so I didn’t look out the window. BUT IT WASN’T STUPID, I WAS RIGHT. RECYCLING BIN THEFT WAS HAPPENING.

It sucks because we have no place to store our bins but outside, on the street corner. People dump their garbage and cardboard boxes and random shit with our garbage. Anyway, I’m moving, so it doesn’t matter.
